Summary

Having spent the vast majority of training and early experience at two of the busiest surgical units in the country - the departments of surgery at St. Mary's Hospital Lacor and Mulago Hospital—I am well versed in emergency and elective general surgery, with over 3,600 operations under my belt.

I believe medicine is best practiced by a team, and patients are best approached as the most important members of that team.

My practice of medicine can best be summarized as sacrificial, ethical, patient centered, consisting of continuous learning and unlearning, continuous quality improvement, and teaching wherever and whenever an opportunity arises.
