I am a very professional magistrate with more than two years of bench experience and eleven years of litigation and trail practice experience. I am well grounded in the application of law, rules and procedures. I also possess management and leadership skills that enabled me manage Kalangala Chief Magistrates Court from July 2022 until June 2023 when a substantive Chief magistrate was appointed. I am dedicated to utilizing my progressive experience and skills to execute my duties with a great sense of ownership, quality, innovation, and within the boundaries of the law.

Job overview

  • Handled and disposed of cases over 800 case in the last two years, and in a timely manner hence reeding the court of backlog
  • Successfully managed Kalangala court as an independent court for more than one year
  • Transparently managed all court funds and filed my accountabilities on time
  • Organized and managed stakeholder meetings for a year and half while heading the court
  • Routinely visited the detention facilities every quarter
  • Prepared and filed all monthly, quarterly and annual court reports with the Registrar in time
