Accomplishments

  • Conducted surveys to identify MSMEs within Nakawa Division that were in need of financial support where over 2000 businesses were supported under Poverty Eradication & Alleviation Program (PEAP)
  • Through continuous community visits, and sharing findings with political heads at the division headquarters, new public toilets were constructed and water facilities were installed in market centers, thus improving hygiene
  • Carried out community assessments to identify non-schooling children and find means of incorporating them in the government enrollment program, like Universal Primary Education (USE)
  • In collaboration with Mbale Chief Magistrates Court and Mbale Probation Office, resettled over 100 children from various remand homes across the country, streets, and children centers to different destinations covering 14 districts of eastern Uganda
