• Led development of UNOC’s 5-year new venture road map including key milestones and strategic business objectives

• Responsible for creating rolling three-month U.S cash flow forecast for all U.S domiciled entities to inform commercial paper and investment activity. Due to forecasting improvements implemented, financing costs were lowered by over $1 Million dollars a year
• Coordinated activities of cash forecast and daily cash position analysts and facilitated constant communication in fast-paced environment of daily investments and commercial paper issuance
• Reported cash requirements to Vice Treasurer and Long-Term Debt team to inform bond issuance, debt repayments and cash repatriation activity.

• Worked alongside project managers, performing project accounting and financial oversight for capital and expense projects totaling over $150 million per year
• Led improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma Methodology. Project to optimize rental equipment duration saved company over $1.5 million a year
• Revamped Refinery Leadership Team Opex review to focus on finding tradeoffs for headwinds, realizing over $10 million in savings in first year

• Prepared G&A reports and analysis for CFO and Finance Leadership Team
• Performed account reconciliations and ensured proper coding of journal entries in accordance to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Corporate Internal Controls

• Developed quick reference guide to improve quality of internal controls testing by Chevron’s global assessors, helping solve problem of vast differences in control test submissions
• Reviewed companywide representation letters to ensure all Less Than Satisfactory (LTS) items were accurately reported prior to submission to the Comptroller

Chevron Hawaii Refinery

• Coordinated three-year Opex Business Plan, providing guidance to departments and consolidating results for submission to Manufacturing Headquarters
• Provided cost management and project accounting support to refinery project managers to ensure spending aligned with approved budgets and charges were expensed and capitalized appropriately

Chevron Nigeria Limited

• Reviewed Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) sensitive transactions in liaison with local counsel, HQ Legal and HQ Compliance. Acted as primary contact for HQ in Lagos, Nigeria to ensure due diligence was completed
• Created process to monitor and report out credit risk exposure posed by advance payments during 2008 economic crisis

Chevron Shipping Company

• Published monthly leadership team package and performed various financial and operational analyses including relative performance of spot chartered, time chartered and owned fleet
• Analyzed and reconciled Captains’ working fund transactions for all voyages
