I have been in regional engagements that promote and safeguard interests of the maritime transport sector across the great lakes region, specifically I have served as the regional Chairman technical committee of the Intergovernmental Standing Committee on Shipping, where I spearheaded the preparations to transform the organization to its current status of Maritime Organization for Eastern,Southern and Northern Africa (MOESNA).I have equally been actively involved in transport development programs under the Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) and the Northern Corridor Transit Transport Coordination Authority (NCTTCA), these among other regional engagements.
