Summary

I am a Human rights, Peace and Development Specialist with over 10 years of continuous experience in social projects design, management, implementation and advocacy with Indigenous NGOs in sectors of; peace and conflict resolution, civic Education, advocacy, Social and political accountability, youth engagement an skilling, Social enterprises, gender and governance. I have 10 years experience in social work, community and leadership mobilization, and Human rights based approaches to development in areas of; peace, good governance, Education, education and health. Much of my efforts have been dedicated in transforming livelihoods in both Rural and urban areas with keen consideration of social safe guards, and social inclusion in development efforts among the minorities and under privileged in Uganda, Kenya and Cameroon most especially Rwenzori, Westnile and Northern regions of Uganda. I possess experience in project design and management, gender programming and gender mainstreaming at work place, conflict sensitive planning and programming policy advocacy, leadership mobilization, and resource mobilization, fundraising/concept note development and proposal writing. I possess 10 years of working and dealing with Donor funded project both in the advocacy, voice, governance and peace building funded by Democratic governance Facility (DGF), USAID, European Union, GIZ, GOAL, Master Card Foundation etc. I have experience of collaborating with government agencies/ bodies including but not limited to; ministry of Local Government, Uganda Police and Parliament of Uganda. I boost of an extensive knowledge of the local Governance context and the conflict dynamics in Africa, facilitating advocacy processes that enhance voices of women and youth in minority ethnicities. I am also experienced in youth mainstreaming and meaningful youth engagement in terms of facilitating processes for voice, stakeholder engagement and skilling, advocacy strategy development, monitoring and tracking. I posses skills in people centered advocacy strategies, people to people dialogues, advocacy campaigns from local to national level.
