Interests

I am interested in pursuing a career in research and teaching in the areas of applied mathematics which include actuarial science, financial analytics, financial mathematics, risk mathematics, data science, stochastic modeling, risk and insurance management, dynamic financial modeling, data analytics and other fields of applied mathematical statistics Specifically, I am interested in application of machine learning concepts to modeling risks in insurance My motivation to pursue research in these areas is driven by the increasing demand for models that provide real time accurate predictions and estimates using huge amount of data and/or when there is limited data to model a given process
