Major Achievements

• Leading, Planning and Coordinating the rollout of the STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) advocacy project in collaboration with the US Embassy, targeting 100 young women and girls (aged 19-24years) aimed at enhancing digital innovations and leveraging technology towards development in the Central region of Uganda and consequently focusing on promoting gender inclusive technology to bridge the digital divide gap.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with sister organizations and bodies to support capacity building, development and revision of digital literacy, digital advocacy and digital inclusion programs.
• Identifying and defining target user groups and target service offers within the Consortiums under which the organization has representation using the Design Thinking Process.
• Tracking and ensuring that all aspects of Digital Projects Scope of Work are met with satisfaction and are communicated in a timely manner to the respective stakeholders.
• Creatively thinking and coming up with ideas in line with digital innovations that directly address challenges within the rural and peri-urban communities in the country hence contributing to digital transformation and digital capacity for sustainable development.

Major Achievements

• Successfully managed and delivered a sensitive and high profile project of upgrading the Bank's Core Application server from Windows Server 2003 to Server 2016, which ultimately enhanced the performance of the system by 40% and saved the Organization unsupported infrastructure monthly charges of $ 7200.
• Effectively planned and coordinated the Active Directory migration from Barclays to ABSA bank domain during the separation of the 2 entities which resulted in successfully migrating 1000 Staff members out of the existing 1200 over a period of 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Partnered with business teams to understand needs and mitigate potential problems.
• Designed processes and systems supporting business needs before, during and after transitions.
• Identified impacted parties, business partners and resources required for planned changes.
• Oversaw change management efforts to support implementation of critical initiatives driving technology, process and culture changes.

Major Achievements

• Coordinated the integration of the business support billing system with the packet core network (4G/LTE) project from design stage to scale up when Vodafone was setting up as a startup Telecom in Uganda.
• Led and coordinated technical and customer experience teams through defining the requirements for data systems used by customer experience department and this consequently improved efficiency by 60%

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the planning and implementation of Technology Project activities within a regulated environment.
• Proactively following up on project progress and identifying bottlenecks and major problems in administration procedures and accordingly aligning with the South Africa group operation.
• Providing progress reports and regular updates on project work to respective stakeholders.
