- Worked with team to design and construct a remote controlled tracked vehicle to be used for agricultural purposes.
- Used solid works, NX and Catia software to design mechanical components of the tracked vehicle.
- Used Eagle software to design the electronic system of the vehicle. This process involved connecting schematic diagrams, component placements and PCB routing.
- Programmed arduino mega microcontroller to transmit and receive signals for controlling the remote controlled tracked vehicle.
- Participated in fabrication activities which included welding, drilling,grinding, cutting and designing a jig and fixture. These activities were carried out using power tools such as a power saw, plasma cutter, grinding stone, manual press, drilling machine, lathe machine and a 5-axis and 3-axis CNC milling machine.

- Participated in inspecting and testing of mechanical installations. Some of these inspections and tests included carrying out dye penetrant test to discover welding defects, paint polish inspections of primer coat using a film thickness test to ensure that the paint was properly applied and to the right thickness, paint polish inspections of final coat to check if the paint had the correct thickness, if the paint had properly bonded with the surface by carrying out an adhesion test and to check if the paint had properly dried.
- Participated in commissioning of various mechanical equipment that has passed inspection.
