- Maintain the HSMS and EMS with zero non-compliance and maintain a non-compliance checklist that is updated from time to time
- Support the Engineering team, in all the new construction developments, shop inspection and renovations, plan reviews to ensure that all constructions are implemented with the highest safety standards and in compliance to building regulations.
- Reduce the LTIFR by 30 % by timely investigating all incidents and ensure the root causes have been closed out.
- Fostered the streamlining of contractors’ management especially the fish transporters & feed transporters
- Ensure that all risk including fire risk has been properly mitigated by continuous updating the fire protection measures in place.
- Ensure water safety for all our employees by planning timely swim training and water safety awareness for all new staffs.
- Analyse day to day HSE statistics to ensure proper controls are in place to continuously improve the HSEMS.
- Develop and update all risk assessments for the activities at the farm and advise management accordingly.
- Cost cutting the HSES budget by developing a training plan and prepare majority of the HSE trainings with minimum budget.
- Support in annual environmental audits and project briefs for new projects.
- Managed to control the PPE budget cut because of proper management and follow up. This resulted into a balance of 10% from previously budget items.
- Conduct inspections on all our premises, shops and offices to ensure that the buildings are still integral and safety procedures are complied to at various work areas.
- Coordinating the fumigation and pest control within all the Yalelo Uganda facilities to maintain high levels of food safety but also ensure safety of all staffs
