· Joint Response Plan (JRP) & Programme Partnership Arrangement (PPA) Indicator monitoring: Supporting the full implementation of reporting systems and response monitoring plan through the implementation/maintenance of M&E systems. Promoting the implementation and interoperability between various reporting tools used by technical units/sectors and the main M&E system.

· Roll-out and working with Activity Info (Reporting Tool) for Annual partner and Quarterly partner reporting & Monitoring, Data Visualization, Fact sheets, Info-graphic output on Dashboards, Snapshots, and Monitoring Reports.

· Take responsibility for maintaining increased quality and reliable data, IM products, and analysis produced in the UNHCR Operation.

· To liaise with technical units and sectoral leads to gather information for further analysis and dissemination and identify information gaps. Where information gaps exist, setting up primary data collection systems and conducting Needs Assessments, which may also involve other stakeholders to produce evidence and determine the scope and scale of issues, and informs the definition of programme outputs and targets for the JRP.

· Coordinate Information Management activities relevant to field and settlement management, Shelter, WASH, Health, CBI, and Energy and Environment. Providing /supporting information management services to UNHCR-led sectors and acting as UNHCR IM focal point for those sectors.

· Supporting partners in the design/maintenance and roll out practical and easy-to-use information management system for the management of field missions and incidents reported across the camps, to enable the generation of data that will facilitate the monitoring of the activities implemented, supporting evidence-based decision making and demonstrating results.

• Leverage and put to use relevant software such as Advanced Excel (e.g.pivot tables, functions) , ESRI ArcGIS, Mapinfo , Power BI, Adobe Illustrator, Kobo , Activity Info and/or proGres v4

• Liaise with sector leads and UNHCR sector experts to identify Geographical Information Systems (GIS) needs and develop appropriate GIS products according to the defined standards.

• Manage the response and prioritization of requests for map products and services by different sectors and unit• Assist in the implementation and operationalization of the country/operation-specific Information Management strategy

• Produce a set of standardized maps for sector working group, the Inter-Agency and other UNHCR Unit.

· Maintain the database system for classifying and storing confidential UN Peace Keeping Mission Information.

· Collect and Collate Information / Data on Incidents from multiple sources for Situation Awareness & Trend Analysis, Early Warning, Conflict and Risk Mapping.

· Support JMAC (Joint Mission Analysis Centre) Predictive Analysis applying advanced software IBM i2 iBASE and i2 Analyst Notebook.

· Undertake administrative tasks related to Information Management (Provide access to the IBM i2 DB, Maintain access control, Database QA & QC on the UNMISS JMAC COSMOS and SAGE (Situational Awareness Geospatial Enterprise) Databases plus SharePoint.

· Provide support for Analysts (including visualizing the information, either thematically or geographically, developing database queries and preparation of Quantitative Analysis).

· Act as focal point for JMAC’s Data and Information Management Products, the dissemination and Classification of end User (Charts, Graphs and Maps) based on Mission data, in liaison with IT Help Desk, GITTS and database service provider.

• Operationalized and Implemented a functional UNHCR 5W's Matrix for the Protection Sector Activities and Response Monitoring Processes in line with the guidelines of the Country Refugee Response Plan (RRP).
• Implementing, Setting Up and Roll-Out of the New UNHCR Activity Info v4 Database Tool: For Monitoring RRP Indicators along with both Host Government and UNHCR Operational and Implementing Partners.
• Production of standard UNHCR Info-graphic Maps, Dashboards, Fact Sheets and Snap shots from the various Data sources to Aid in the UNHCR Uganda South West Mission Operation Performance Monitoring Process.
• Provide up-to-date Statistics, Tables Graphs Charts and Maps based on field Data for Input to the UNHCR South West Operation's Weekly Reports, Monthly Reports and Quarterly Reports.
• Training and Capacity Building to field Unity Staff, plus Operational and Implementing Partner Staff, Border Entry Point Units on the and use of Activity Info.
• Provide technical input in the maintenance and routine update / upload of Processed Data on the UNHCR Information Management Data portal https://ugandarefugees.org/en/country/uga as part of the IM Technical Working Group.

Rural Access Index –RAI Initiative Mapping

· Assist the UNOPS Assessment and GIS expert to produce a clear and transparent georeferenced Information database and maps

· Assist in variation and recording of all field data from surveyors; manage data related to Rural Road Networks, Services and Infrastructures (Health, Schools, Markets, Water points, and other Social facilities)

· Assist in gathering, integrating existing spatial data, determining how best the information can be displayed Using GIS Software (Arc GIS, QGIS) in producing maps

· Assist in analyzing data with spatial analysis for the accessibility and infrastructures mapping undertaken (Analysis of satellite image, production of list of GPS coordinate for the villages, facilities, Assessed Road critical points and GPX Tracks)

· Assist in making the Rural Access Index (RAI) Calculation, in producing and printing maps following the Instruction of the Assessment and GIS expert

· Assist in monitoring and evaluation of assessments

- Contribute to intermediate and final reports.

- Assist the Assessment and GIS expert to provide trainings in the use of GIS tools

- Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager and team.

• Production of Health Risk Analysis Maps, Hot Spots, and Clustered Population Settlements & Harmonizing Existing Georeferenced Datasets
• Consult on strategy and methods for mapping vulnerable areas, as identified by Red Cross partners in OpenStreetMap.
• Ensure that all appropriate geographic data are uploaded to The Humanitarian Data Exchange (HDX) Platform or other relevant, accessible repositories
• Support local OpenStreetMap communities to encourage local mapping.
• Work closely with Red Cross partners to support the project’s collaborative partnerships with other Red Cross / Red Crescent National Societies, HOT, MSF, the World Bank, local government agencies, and other relevant entities.
• Engage with volunteers and partner organizations to educate people about the value of open data and mapping as key infrastructure for humanitarian/development efforts.

• To Manage Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) Data (Cases and Contacts) including suspected, confirmed cases and deaths in all counties of Liberia.
• Management and Analysis of laboratory related data on results of Ebola Virus Disease tests conducted.
• Management of the WHO Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR) data, The WHO Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) data, The Water and Sanitation (WASH) data and the Early Warning Infectious Disease Surveillance (EWIDS) Data.
• Prepare Data for Tabulation and Map production (Data Visualization) of Mortality and Morbidity, locations of Hospitals, Primary Health care Units, Public & Private Health facility Spatial distribution, location of Health Agencies / Partners, UN Agencies and IDP Camps and Clustered Population settlements.
• Collate Information/ Data coming from the field (EVD Data Harmonization).
• Facilitate access to databases and dissemination of data according to existing protocols.
• Ensure data Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) and Monitor performance of Surveillance data (ensuring completeness, timelessness)
• Perform routine data Analysis and Presentation.
• Produce High Quality GIS Map Outs for Epi Week bulletins, WHO Presentations, Publications and Agency wide / MOH Use.
• Conduct Training in Data Management and GIS for in Country Capacity Building.

• To Migrate the Regional Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) Databases to a Cloud-based Data Management System.
• Collect all reports and data on mapping surveys and PC-NTD interventions carried out by country NTD Programmes.
• Follow-up data submission, quality and completeness of data received from countries on Preventive Chemotherapy (PC) and Case Management (CM) datasets.
• Compile and store all received information and data into the Regional NTD database.
• Provide support for analyzing NTD data received from the country and send feedback to countries.
• Prepare information products and other analysis required for PC & CM programmes, including regular progress reports.
• Prepare country dossiers to submit for review by the RPRG.
• Facilitate training of country NTD programmes on the use of various database and analysis tools relevant to PC and CM NTDs.

• Provide Technical Computer Systems and Geographical Information Systems ( GIS ) expertise and support to all CDC Branches, The Ministry of Health and PEPFAR Implementing Partners in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Computer Systems to support the District Health Information Systems ( DHIS II ) GIS Component, the planning, designing and implementation of health information systems (HIS) for HIV/AIDS using MS SQL Server 2010 and other public health programs and initiatives supported by the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
• Working mainly with systems analysts, application developers, data managers, program staff and other Researchers, laboratorians and scientists at CDC and at partner sites to integrate the usage of GIS in existing heath information management systems so that data capture, analysis and display can be geographically referenced.
• Carrying out critical Geospartial Analysis of Data and making presentations to partners, key stakeholders. This while keeping abreast of new advancements in systems, GIS\GPS software.
• Quarantine Mapping of Affected Areas of Emerging Pandemic Threats and Response to Disease Outbreaks, Research and other Public Health Programs.
• To transform Geo-spatial data into new format, Field Data Collection and Supervision, Developing GIS Web Applications, Developing GIS and Computer Systems Training Manuals and carrying out Trainings.
• Maintaining Geodatabases , and producing Quality Public Health Map Out puts in several formats Geopdf, KML etc
• Performed Software Installations and Hardware Configuration to successfully setup a Dynamic Hierarchy of GIS Servers at the CDC and Partner sites.

• To Support Data Management of the Partners, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) Clinical Trials Project, A Research collaboration between the CDC, the University of Washington & TASO (The AIDS Support Organization).
• Data Management support the CDC Home-Based AIDS Care (HBAC) project and the Stigma Study Data collection at the CDCs Field Station.
• Designing and building a Robust Participant Tracking Database for the Partners PrEP Clinical Trials Project sites in Uganda.
• Establishing a Photo-ID System for Capturing Patient details under the Home-Based Aids Care (HBAC) Project.
