I am an accomplished, passionate and committed result oriented high school science (Physics, and Mathematics) teacher with over twelve (12) years of hands-on successful teaching experience in the education industry. An organised and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude and willing to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.


I believe that teaching and learning is a continuous and lifelong journey that is not only limited to what is taught and learnt in the classroom. My major role lies in building individual personalities since each individual has deferent strengths and needs. My experience in teaching Cambridge and our national (Uganda) curricula has widened my interaction with diverse cultures, improved my communication and teaching skills, acquaintance with the child centered curricula, and integration of different teaching and learning techniques to suit every individual student’s learning needs.

In the 2021/2022 Cambridge examinations; 100% attained grade A and B (A level physics), 85% got grade A and B (AS level physics) and 100% attained grade A (IGCSE physics), In the 2020/2021 Cambridge examinations; 66.6% attained grade B and 33.3% got grade C (A level physics), 60% got grade A and 30% got grade B (AS level physics) and 52% attained grade A (IGCSE physics)
  • Registered student progress and attendance on school database (coolSIS and school mind applications) to enable real time tracking of history and maintain accurate records.
  • Participated in parent teacher conference to discuss developments of students and increase support where needed.
  • Offered after school tutoring to challenged learners so as to catch up with the rest

  • In 2019 UACE (A-level), we registered an improvement of 160% and 20% in physics and mathematics performance in grade “A” respectively which led to an increased number of government sponsored student’s intake into Uganda public universities
  • In 2018 UACE results, the physics department got 92.75% principle pass with 10% in grade A, mathematics produced 94.6% principle pass

Key achievement:

  • Organized capacity building workshops which tremendously improved service delivery of departmental members.
  • Initiated the science and technology club in school where learners, teachers and facilitators shared about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). This boosted learners' involvement in science related activities in school leading to improved academic performance.
  • Started a science related website www.techscienceclub.com (currently down) where learners gain skills in writing, data collection and presentation in addition to easy acquisition of academic material in addition to STEM projects work
  • Mobilized for and organized successful science fairs in 2017 and 2018 where participation grew by 70%.
