• Gained strong leadership skills by managing projects from start to finish eg spearheaded in and out of school STEM activities like construction of a boat out of plastic waste which in turn won the water racing competition at Victoria Nyanza Sailing Club at Kaazi in kampala in recognition of World Recycling day, organised successful 2023 Horizon mathemania contest and 2023 Horizon STEM expo.
• Proved successful working within tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment.

• Continuously conducted evaluations to measure performance and progress of students, providing guidance for areas requiring improvement. In the 2021/2022 Cambridge examinations; 100% attained grade A and B (A level physics), 85% got grade A and B (AS level physics) and 100% attained grade A (IGCSE physics), In the 2020/2021 Cambridge examinations; 66.6% attained grade B and 33.3% got grade C (A level physics), 60% got grade A and 30% got grade B (AS level physics) and 52% attained grade A (IGCSE physics)
• Registered student progress and attendance on school database (coolSIS and school mind applications) to enable real time tracking of history and maintain accurate records.
• Participated in parent teacher conference to discuss developments of students and increase support where needed.
• Offered after school tutoring to challenged learners so as to catch up with the rest
• Guided and facilitated the year 10 class on their STEM project - suspended bridge which won the 2020/2021 STEM competitions
• Created lessons and online testing materials to facilitate remote learning.
• Being a home room/ class teacher to year 11 class, I guided and counseled students on various life and academic aspects in addition to conducting/ organising the PSHE programs for the class
• Scheduled conferences with parents to discuss students' progress and classroom behavior.

• In 2019 UCE results, I helped in getting 99.5% first grade out of 207 students of which mathematics got 40% distinctions while physics produced 15% distinction and none failed the subjects
• In 2019 UACE (A-level), we registered an improvement of 160% and 20% in physics and mathematics performance in grade “A” respectively which led to an increased number of government sponsored student’s intake into Uganda public universities
• In 2018 UACE results, the physics department got 92.75% principle pass with 10% in grade A, mathematics produced 94.6% principle pass

Key achievement:

• Organized capacity building workshops which tremendously improved service delivery of departmental members.
• Initiated the science and technology club in school where learners, teachers and facilitators shared about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). This boosted learners' involvement in science related activities in school leading to improved academic performance.
• Started a science related website www.techscienceclub.com (currently down) where learners gain skills in writing, data collection and presentation in addition to easy acquisition of academic material in addition to STEM projects work
• Mobilized for and organized successful science fairs in 2017 and 2018 where participation grew by 70%.

• Kept classroom environments consistent and focused on learning by establishing and enforcing clear objectives.
• Advised and counseled students to help them develop skills and knowledge required to succeed.

• Being a physics examiner in the national examining body, Used my knowledge and skill from Uganda National Examinations Body (UNEB) marking sessions since 2015 to accelerate learners’ achievement in national examinations
• Continuously use students’ feedback to choose appropriate methods of teaching and evaluation.
• Created a program by collaborating with the school computer laboratory to foster interest in learning physics and science in general using YouTube videos, Phet simulations among others
• Incorporated exciting and engaging activities to achieve student participation and hands-on learning.
• Established a reward system to manage inappropriate classroom behavior, resulting in a marked decrease in indiscipline cases.
