Internship under supervision of head engineer of Engineering and Project Management Department to develop skills in project management, and electrical solutions and installation designs of newly built residential apartments. During internship period I worked in assisting head of engineer under these following areas; Developed electrical design with respect to electrical drawings and safety compliance at construction sites, overseeing and assisting supervision of electrical installation at construction sites, developing energy efficient ideas that meet standards and region practices of energy efficient homes, and demonstrating and analyzing feasibility of renewable energy options available in the region.

• Participated in site visits, helping to survey ongoing and planned installations and retrofits.

Joint-project managed by arch associates, consultant who are a group of senior professionals whom expertise's are in environmental and energy auditing. auditing of electrical and thermal equipment's of various industries included. Roles played collectively are:

• Performed energy audits to determine current energy use and recommend plans for savings.
• Monitored and analyzed energy consumption.
• Advanced knowledge and improved team support by learning functions of energy auditing roles.
• Audited energy-related design problems, including design configurations and arrangements.
• Established current usage against baseline expectations to identify overages and coordinate assessments.
• Measured and documented real-time energy usage at different points of production systems in industry.
• Outlined comprehensive energy improvement plans such as adding insulation, operational practices, and improving specified processes.
• Determined best strategies for improving industrial energy efficiency by inspecting processes, thermal devices, and electrical systems.
• Proposed strategies for energy savings to decrease operation costs.

I worked in the various departments of NECSOM, A power supplier of Garowe, Somalia. Mainly at the generation plant where the renewable technologies play 40% such as wind turbine and PV solar. I also worked transmission and Distribution department, and Hybrid control system of the generation plant. Roles played during internship:

• Worked effectively with diverse team to accomplish daily objectives and meet long-term goals.
• Restored performance levels by adjusting settings and completing minor repairs.
• Detected operating problems with continuous monitoring of equipment and indicators.
• Identified operational faults and performance issues by testing and troubleshooting completed systems.
• Managed operation of wind turbine generator systems, including coordinating start-up and restarting of components.
