• Ably led the phase in, set-up and functionalized the West Nile Nebbi Program Area office for Plan International Uganda within 18 months although target was 36 months, all departments, systems and processes are operational to date.
• Provided leadership during the annual planning and budgeting process to ensure all departmental budgets came on time, accurate and reflected the needs of the program area.
• Led the development and operationalization of the program area long term plan, embedded MERL activities, created space for reflection with teams and further revision as the need arose.
• Provided leadership in the delivery of high-quality child sponsorship communication, sponsorship program alignment and sponsor satisfaction. To date, the Program Area (PA) is the most performing on delivering sponsorship commitments with an annual KPI of 95% for FY23.
• Ably built a high performing staff portfolio from 4 staff in 2019 to between 45 -55 staff currently, they are motivated and delivering PIU’s current Country Strategy, we have seen less than 2% staff attrition annually.
• Ensured compliance to Plan International’s global and localized policies, Government of Uganda compliance requirements as well, offering space for reflection with teams, partners and all associates.
• Ably led the networking and advocacy portfolios, led in partner identification and management working closely with the partnership manager based at Plan International Uganda country office.
• West Nile Program Area – Nebbi office

• Managed the FY24 program implementation start up cycle by ensuring timely designs, reviews and support on processes is offered to Country and Program area level teams.
• Supported new business review and program onboarding processes, ensured projects were initiated on time, with all due processes under consideration, different team members playing their different roles at the point of need.
• Coordinated and managed the budget set up processes for all new and continuing grants, trouble shot issues that require support, enabled smooth operations of all program activities within the program portfolio including engaging with National Offices (NO).
• Supervised and coordinated program staff implementing complex projects, provided oversight and support where necessary that enabled delivery of quality programs in line with the Program Quality Implementation Policy (PQIP) of PII, more than 70% projects were rated Green on the RAG.
• Strategically supported PIU partnership development processes working with the partnership and business development team to ensure PIU partnership framework is active and attracting valuable partners.
• Strategically managed to revamp the PIU sponsorship delivery that focused on delivering the 9 sponsorship commitments and therefore sponsor retention.
• Managed the Country level portfolio reporting for the FY23 on time, with accuracy and quality.
• Plan International Uganda (PIU)

• Ably delivered the Empowering Youth for Sustainable Livelihoods Project (EYSLP) Building my Future and Construction Skills Development and Youth Empowerment Project (CSDYEP) in Northern Uganda on time, scope and budget.
• Designed and implemented MERL processes and systems for the projects under my jurisdiction, regular reflections were undertaken to discuss and use results for decision making.
• Participated in staff recruitment process of more than 25 staff and managed their entry, stay and exit processes, due to quality staff recruited, projects were delivered with high quality output.
• Led the development and strengthening of stakeholders in the project scope, overall, over 40 stakeholder expectations were managed well by the projects managed.
• Managed quality and timely reporting processes for the entire project duration, consequently no ineligible costs were reported at project closure.
• Northern Region –Lira office

• As the technical lead in the region, I provided leadership to implementing partners on the youth vocational skills development programme (YDP) in the 16 districts under implementation.
• Ensured monitoring and evaluation of the programme by periodically organizing joint support supervision visits to the districts and partners implementing the programme.
• Managed budgets for implementation and other related activities for VSO Regional office and partner activities in an effective manner.
• Ensured credible and timely reporting both narrative and financial in the region from partners
• Supervised and supported 6 international volunteers and 25 national staff placed in the two sub-regions to implement the YDP livelihoods programme.
• Teso and Karamoja sub-regions

• Provided Support in the continuing development & implementation of effective monitoring, evaluation, learning & accountability systems within ANPPCAN programs & for partners using effective information & learning systems to support quality delivery of the programs as per ANPPCAN & partner agreed standards.
• Supervised the nine (9) field offices in program development and general administration ensuring the reports and other key deliverable are achieved within time and that they are user-friendly.
• Developed & operationalized the M&E system in close collaboration with all the relevant departments for participation & ownership.
• Developed M&E data collection tools for projects that captured information about project Log-frames, implementation plans.

• Provided ongoing capacity & technical support, coordinate & ensure quality at project planning, implementation, M&E, Report on the OVC livelihood, HIV/Aids prevention and the self Help approach projects funded by the CSF/USAID, KNH.
• In line with FTCU and the donor financial management guidelines, developed, Planned and managed activity budgets within the overall project framework and maintain good budget discipline including ensuring compliance to donor requirements while documenting best practices to be used as lesions to inform programming.
• Provided overall management of the regional office including operations, staff supervision, appraisals, reporting, resource mobilization, networking and partnership building among others.
