Smart Real – Time Accident Detection and Alert System
Designed an IoT accident detection system using LoRa, sending data via a Wi-Fi gateway to a PHP/MySQL backend with API-triggered SMS alerts and a monitoring UI.
WAZUH file integration and IDS implementation (Suricata)
Configured a Wazuh single-node setup with file monitoring to log any file updates by the root user on agent machines (VMware) Linux machine. Integrated Suricata IDS to detect and alert based on predefined rules for vulnerable machines, with all activity monitored on the Wazuh dashboard.
Modsec WAF firewall implementation and SQL Injection Automated
Deployed two DVWA instances on Docker to demonstrate web application security. Added ModSecurity WAF to one; SQLmap attacks succeeded on the unprotected instance but were blocked on the WAF-protected one.
