  • In this position, my tasks include working with Labour Officers, overseeing smooth operation of administrational clerical tasks assigned by supervisors professionally and promptly, responding to queries and giving relevant information to management, preparing necessary documentation and ensuring follow-up actions, and any administrative tasks required
  • Dispute Resolution of Labour Issues that is, handling of complaints from the time they’re reported to the ministry, conciliation, mediation and arbitration
  • Handle cases of employee grievances, office harassment complaints and disciplinary actions before they develop into full-blown court cases.
  • Receive and handle Workman’s Compensation cases
  • Carrying out computations based on assessments made by doctors on LD Forms and ensuring that they are in sync with the Workers’ Compensation Act then giving feedback to employers regarding the same
  • Making referrals of cases that had hit deadlock to industrial court
  • Educating employees and employers on applicability of labor laws
