Summary

Currently I am Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor at the Royal Danish Embassy in Uganda (DANIDA) in charge of planning, Program Quality, Research and learning across the various programs. Previous I was the Deputy Director Programs and Head of Program Quality and Learning (MEAL) at Care International in Uganda Country Office managing Program Quality and the MEAL function for 04 Programs, supported the East and Central Africa MEAL function. While at Care International, I acted in various capacities; for 08 months I was Ag. Head of Program for the Humanitarian Program and another time as Ag. Head of Climate Justice program but also acted as Director Programs (PD) severally having been the Deputy Program Director while at Care international. This role of head of program quality provided a great opportunity for constant engagement with donors, partners, government institutions and spear headed resource mobilization with support of Business development manager. I am an experienced manager with vast expertise in managing complex projects, programs, and Country office portfolios in busy and dynamic environments with additional skills to run a sub office. I have led Country office Programmatic Audit function, working with external auditors, and providing management response to all program related audit queries and ensuring corrective measures are instituted in areas the audit found gaps.

  • I rapporteured in all technical working group monthly meetings, project steering committee meetings.
  • I prepared donor reports, the Project implementation report (PIR) for the Strengthening climate information and early warning systems (SCIEWS) project 2017-2018, the annual reports for the adoption of improved cooking technologies project (2018) and the annual performance report (APR) for the wetlands project 2019-2021
