Team Building activities with children during my free time

Team Building activities are part of my wellbeing programmes that take care of all the aspects of children's wellbeing, from
mental health to physical health, engagement and much more, setting up a long-term wellbeing strategy that will greatly benefit the children.

The Team Building activities foster a culture that children will want to be a part of, and bring long term benefits to families.
I carry out Team Building activities for the children with the following Objectives:

Understanding self-Objectives;
1. To enable children to be aware of their personal values, attitudes, and skills
2. To be able to understand and manage emotions.

Understanding others Objectives
3. Enable Children to be aware of their communication skills, this includes skills for active
and reflective listening.

Building good working environment
4. To enable children acquire good problem-solving and negotiation skills
5. To be able to acknowledge and celebrate the diversity and community strength within and outside home environment.

These team building activities are designed to address some of the challenges children are facing in terms of relationship with parents and other chidren, controling emotions, communication with each other and how to accept defeat with dignity. I use experimental learning cycle whem conducting Opening and closing discussions with the children before and after the game.

This experimental learning Cycle helps children or even staff in an organization to Reflect on their own learning, connect it to their daily lives experience and be able to apply this in their future engagements. It’s a learning process initiated by a concrete experience, which demands reflection, review and perspective-talking about the experience; then abstract thinking to reach conclusions and conceptualize the meaning of the experience; leading to a decision to act, engaging in active experimentation or trying out what you’ve learned.
The discussions are so natural and organic that and children people engage in it without being aware that they are learning. It will happen almost effortlessly all the time and is constantly transforming lives of children

I organize children in a small group of up to 20 children and I lead my games with them and it can be a game that has a theme of (stress and tension, Conflict Management, Friends and friendship, Bullying, Assertiveness, Fighting, Hygiene. So I keep choosing games from different theme every time I interface with them.
