• Providing support in developing and implementing HSE plans for the drilling and production systems operations undertaken by the company in Tilenga project.
• Supporting the HSE team to conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and finding solutions for them, both at the drilling support base and at the rig sites.
• Assisting the emergency response team to carry out drills, incident investigation and reporting.
• Working with other teams like the production systems team to ensure that their operations and tools are compliant with the safety standards in place.
• Carrying out rig visits, participating in safety walks as well as HSE Trainings.

As a representative on the Diversity and Inclusion Board of SPE Uganda, I advocate for inclusive practices within the oil and gas industry in Uganda.

Seeing firsthand how different perspectives can lead to more creative and effective solutions has fueled my commitment to ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to contribute and succeed in their area of practice. I have learned the importance of active listening, empathy, and collaboration in creating an inclusive environment.

As the co-founder of PAVE-Uganda, I have been instrumental in driving various community improvement projects in various districts in Western Uganda. This organization focuses on enhancing the quality of life through education and entrepreneurship. PAVE has influenced more than 500 people nationwide, including local women, school-going children, and the elderly, and continues to grow.

• Directing projects such as renovating classrooms to create a more conducive learning environment for students.
• Empowering students through problem-solving workshops, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
• Implemented entrepreneurship workshops through training local women in business management and financial literacy, enabling them to start and grow their own businesses.
• Working with the fund sourcing team to effectively cover our activities and initiatives.

My commitment to philanthropy and volunteerism is driven by a passion for creating positive change in my community and empowering the next generation, which inspired me to act. This dedication has led to significant achievements, including the successful "Green Mbarara" initiative, planting over 1,000 trees, renovating classroom blocks at Madrasat and Kigongo Primary Schools, and training over 200 women across multiple districts.

• Studied policies for crude oil production, refining operations and quality control measures, while also exploring various aspects of petroleum management.
• Participated in the investigation of the integrity of cores, cuttings, crude oil and geochemical samples in the core store to ensure that they met the standard.

• Gained a clear understanding of the oil and gas activities in Uganda especially those undertaken by CNOOC Uganda Limited for example the layout of the blocks run by CNOOC in KFDA and the expected oil recovery.
• Learnt risks associated with oil and gas activities such as blowouts, risk assessment and analysis and how to develop a risk management plan.
• Assisted the production engineering team in reviewing production plans for Kingfisher Development Area following instructions given by my supervisor.
• Participated in workshops and training sessions to further develop relevant skill sets for the field.
