Policy Development and Advisory, Project Identification and Feasibility Studies, Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement, and Project Structuring and Financial Modeling:

• Developing PPP Policies: Contribute to formulation of policies, guidelines, and frameworks that govern PPPs in Uganda.
• Advisory role: Provide expert advice to government agencies and departments on feasibility, structuring, and management of projects.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all PPP projects comply with national policies, legal frameworks, and international best practices.
• Identifying PPP Opportunities: Work with government ministries and departments to identify potential projects that could be implemented through PPPs.
• Conducting Feasibility Studies: Oversee or participate in preparation of feasibility studies to assess viability of PPP projects.
• Inter-Agency Coordination: Coordinate with various government agencies, private sector entities, and development partners to ensure smooth identification and implementation of PPP projects.
• Structuring Projects: Assist in structuring PPP projects, including developing contractual framework and financial models, undertake financial analysis to determine cost-effectiveness and sustainability of PPP projects, and funding mobilization.

• Carrying out investment appraisal for projects and ensuring compliance to national plans and regional agendas
• Undertake costing of Government strategic documents and interventions to ensure value for money
• Review and appraisal of government loan proposals to determine alignment and national interest
• Preparation of prefeasibility and feasibility studies for public and private sector projects
• Participate in drafting of theNational Development Plan (NDPIII) and strategic direction for the fourth National Development Plan (NDPIV) through stakeholder engagements and programme articulation
• Review of various government projects for compliance and alignment to national, regional and international development plans
• Guiding Ministries, departments and agencies in project preparation
• Development of business plans for strategic private sector investments.

• Mobilizing and recovery of tax revenue
• Identification and engagement of businesses and property owners to ensure tax compliance
• Issuance of local tax revenue assessments for clients
• Fostering tax compliance among both formally registered and informal businesses
• Liaison with local leaders to ensure harmony and seamless tax revenue mobilisation
• Community engagements /sensitization of clients on current tax laws and amendments.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports regarding assignments and ongoing investigations.
• Implement process improvements that streamline workflows to reduce redundancies and increase operational efficiency.

• Research and bench marking Tarmac’s Real Estate Optimization strategy (Financing and Monetization)
• Inform Tarmac’s Real Estate Financing and Monetization strategy drawing on both industry practice and innovation.

• Worked with the internet banking team under the banking department
• I was involved in training bank customers (government departments) on the use and application of online banking services
• Was part of several engagements with private sector clients and various government ministries to ensure proper functioning of the IFMS systems
• Worked in the clearing/ forwarding and currency sections of the bank which allowed me to interact with the different currency center representatives.
