Responsibilities:

• Managing the project to achieve the goals within the scope of work.
• Weekly and monthly reporting of work progress and materials stock.
• Supervised subcontractors of different trades (painters, tilers, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and so on) to ensure that work is delivered according to specifications and safety standards.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Checking and verifying the actual work done for invoice payment purposes.
• Ensure the work executed complies with the requirements and specifications of the contract.

Client : Minsitry of Public Service, Wandegeya.

Project : Proposed Renovation of the Accounts and Data Center Block, Green Roof and Pension Registry at the Ministry of Public Service.

• Ensure the work executed complies with the requirements and specifications of the contract and standards.
• Supervise work done by finishing (tiling, suspended ceiling, gypsum work, painting), roofing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors.
• Execute demolition and construction works according to the drawings and bills of quantities.
• Progress reporting of daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
• Make cost estimations and quantities.
• Determine and manage resources, both manpower and equipment, necessary for the work to be done.
• Manage all other site administration works.

Client: Makerere University Council, P.O. Box 7062, Kampala.

Project: Construction of a Boundary Wall and Gate House at Makerere University Main Campus, along Muganzi Awongerwa Road.

• Site preparation and setting out for civil works.
• Management of resources that were necessary for the work done.
• Supervised excavation and concrete works according to drawings.
• Reinforcement checks of bases and columns in reference to drawings.
• Ensured that the work executed is as per the defined scope.
• Formwork checks were performed before the casting of concrete.

Client : Kampala City Council Authority, Directorate of Education and Social Services.

Project : Removal of asbestos, remodeling, and expansion of classroom and laboratory blocks at Kololo S.S.S. in Central Division, Phase 1.

• Site preparation and setting out for civil works.
