• Assisted with administrative work of managing subcontractors and site documents.
• Supervised drainage system construction, concrete works and earth works.
• Used AutoCad to draft drainage system sections and also estimated quantities of materials to be used by subcontractors.
• Assisted materials engineer with testing finished road layers and other materials that would be used in road construction.
• Assisted Health and safety officer in ensuring safe working environment on site.
• Prepared daily activity reports.

This was a 11-story office building construction for Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) on Lumumba avenue in Kampala. While there, I got engaged in activities like;

• Steel fixing & fabrication, engineering surveying, concrete works, masonry works and plan interpretation.
• Reported back to instructor to receive day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.
• Prepared meeting rooms and materials and recorded important information.
