Key Achievements:

• Participated in development and review of band plans, standards, and guidelines for spectrum use e.g., 450MHz, 2100MHz, 2.4 GHz band, 3.3-3.6 GHz, 5GHz band, 700MHz band, V-band, 2.4GHz; Guidelines for use of Drones and associated Spectrum requirements in Uganda, Standards for the use of UHF and VHF bands for Private Land Mobile Radio in Uganda and Standards for use of Short Rage Radiocommunication Devices including the use of Ultra-wide band Devices in Uganda; contributing towards improvement of spectrum use efficiency.
• Active member of National and Regional Preparatory Committees for World Radio Communication Conferences (WRCs). Current Vice Chair of WRC-27 Working Group 2A at EACO and 2nd Vice Chair of WRC-27 Working Group 2A at ATU
• Lead coordinator of Implementation of Cross Border Frequency Coordination at EACO under Working Group 5.
• Represented Uganda at International meetings including ITU-R Working Party 5D on IMT Systems and Working Party 1A on Spectrum Engineering Techniques.
• Represented Uganda as Speaker and Panelist at the 8th Sub-Sahara Spectrum Management Conference in Yaoundé, Cameroon in 2023 in the Session: Continuing the Path towards a Harmonised Continental 5G Strategy.
• Represented Uganda at the ICAO Symposium for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Drone Enable in 2022 in Montreal, Canada.
• Participated in the ICT Policy and Regulation- Institutional Strengthening(iPRIS) program coordinated by the Swedish Program for ICT in Developing Countries (SPIDER) and participated in projects on Revision of the Uganda National Numbering Plan and, Development of the Framework for Radio Frequency Spectrum Valuation and Pricing

• Team lead in review of Spectrum management and utilization guidelines as proposed by Uganda Communications Commission as well as participation in National Preparatory Committee meetings for World Radio Conference 2019

• Designed and managed the numbering plan in compliance with Uganda Communications Commission numbering guidelines.
• Planned and developed core network roadmaps for upgrades and replacement of obsolete network equipment.
• Forecasting, planning, and dimensioning core network switching and traffic capacities including interconnection with other industry players.
• Monitored Core Network KPIs and made recommendations to ensure compliance with set technical and operational standards and guidelines.
