Guide and report the research activities performed by Nile Fibre Board Limited in the Kikonda Forest Reserve. Specifically:

• Monitoring the plantation and nursery activities in all respects (growth, survival, area, diseases, browsing, social and environmental impact, etc.).
• Mapping of the plantation boundaries and other features within the forest reserve using GIS.
• Keeping an updated geo-referenced database of plantation inventories
• Creation of forestry sampling point shape file for data collection
• Making maps for the different features within and around the plantation and making them readily available for management decisions.
• Writing scientific reports for internal use (and/or publications for (inter-) national magazines), which are analyzing and evaluating the research executed in the plantation, the nursery, the surrounding communities, and whose research subjects are associated.
