Accomplishments

  • At my previous engagement, I was able to develop and set up an inventory management system that was not there before. I was able to develop procedures for inventory management and develop an asset register (database) that was not there before.
  • As a Safety Champion at my former workstation in Kitgum UNRA, I was able to implement the Occupational Health and Safety strategy at the station. This enhanced employee awareness about safety through the continuous engagements I had with them.
  • I have attended various Continuous Professional Development (CPDs) programmes with the Institute of Procurement Professionals of Uganda.
  • I effectively managed to improve the performance of the UMEME Contact Centre employees through conducting performance appraisals, coaching, training and designing Performance Improvement Plans for the team.
  • I managed to formulate and update supplier registry and kept standard records of information pertaining particular sources and suppliers at the Procurement and Disposal Unit in Jinja.
  • I was one of the brains behind the inception of the Call Centre Team building club and I doubled as the Purchasing Officer for this Club.
