David Mutesaasira is a Civil Engineer with over 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering, quantity surveying, construction management, and sustainable infrastructure development. He has successfully planned, designed, supervised, and managed residential, commercial, institutional, and community projects across Uganda, delivering engineering solutions that balance technical excellence, cost efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
His expertise includes engineering design, project planning, construction supervision, contract administration, quantity surveying, cost estimation, quality assurance, and project coordination. He has managed multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and design to procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
David specializes in climate-responsive and eco-friendly construction technologies, including Light Gauge Steel Framing (LGSF), Interlocking Stabilized Soil Bricks (ISSBs), Zero Carbon Panel systems (strawboards), FSC-certified timber, Fibre Cement Boards (FCB), and other sustainable building materials that improve efficiency, durability, and environmental performance.
He has also contributed to the planning and implementation of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) infrastructure, delivering resilient, sustainable engineering solutions that meet technical, economic, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
