  • Lead the planning, design, and construction supervision of climate-responsive and eco-friendly institutional buildings, including schools, orphanages, community centres, health facilities, and WASH infrastructure.
  • Prepare structural analysis, engineering calculations, structural designs, reinforcement detailing, and construction drawings in compliance with applicable engineering standards and national building regulations.
  • Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, technical specifications, procurement documents, and tender evaluations to support transparent and cost-effective project delivery.

  • Monitoring IBSF/ZCD and subcontractors' operations on different construction sites located in Imvepi, Rhino and Omugo refugee settlements in Terego District while ensuring human & material resource management strategies and delivering different phases of the projects within the planned time schedule and budget.
  • Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects, preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools and equipment for different works are available at every phase.
  • Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety, liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public.
  • Planning, monitor, and control projects especially in terms of quality assurance, cost and time.
  • Managing different parts of IBSF/ZCD construction projects, supervising crew members, preparing estimates for time and material costs, completing quality assurance for building materials, observing health and safety standards, attending to different stakeholders especially to questions relating to manufacturing, physical and mechanical properties, and construction process of Zero Carbon Panel Walls Technology.
  • Successfully formed and led a group of 60 dedicated builders and 7 senior technical staff between 2015-2021, and led a team of 80+ between August 2021 and July 2022 during the construction of 9 buildings in Imvepi, Rhino and Omugo Refugee settlements in West Nile region of Uganda therefore having the ability to work and communicate effectively and respectfully with others who are different (i.e. different gender, race, culture, or religion).
  • Construction management for Lubaga Hospital physiotherapy and Dormitory Light Gauge Steel Framing buildings from the foundation stages to the completion stages. The structural frames were fabricated using cold formed steel sections throughout the entire structure, including load-bearing exterior walls, non-load bearing interior walls, floor joists, curtain walls and roof trusses. Fiber cement boards and ZCP were cladded on LGSF walls.
  • An innovative and motivated Civil Engineer with 8+ years of working experience conventional and in Environment or Climate friendly/ Eco-friendly building technologies including Zero Carbon Panels Construction Technology, Interlocking Stabilized Soil Bricks (ISSBs), and Light Gauge Steel Framing.
