• Kakumiro, Kibaale and Kagadi districts were able to achieve SMC targets for COP 20 at 102%, 146% and 100% Respectively
• Currently all the districts are on truck to achieving COP21 target through Techinical Support Supervision
• Provided extensive quality assurance training via both in-person and remote teleconferences.

• My roles included overseeing scale up of VMMC Quality Assurance services in view of the CDC assigned targets for different male age categories, providing leadership to the team, conduct VMMC surgeries, participate in standard MoH quality assessments and quality assurance among others
• Key Achievements
• Exceeded goals through effective task prioritization and great work ethic.
• In Kakumiro district, I achieved 76% (4885/5681) of the CoP 18 VMMC targets and 49%(3845/6008) of the CoP 19 VMMC targets despite the limitations of community engagements caused by COVID 19 pandemic
• Worked flexible hours across night to take care of post operational patients or clients, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Of the 59% VMMC targets under pivot Age Category, I have managed to achieve 44% for the COP years 18 and 19
• I have trained and mentored 124 facility Health staffs in Infection prevention and control for COVID 19 and other infectious illnesses
• I have achieved 92% during the Ministry of health Assessments for VMMC Quality Standards for re-accreditation and 89% during the CDC Site Improvement through Monitoring Systems (SIMS)
• Authored and presented an abstract at the National Quality Improvement conference 2019 titled “Improving the proportion of males aged 15 – 29 years (Pivot Age) who undergo Voluntary medical male circumcision VMMC, Strategies that worked at Kakumiro HCIV, Kakumiro district”
• I worked to maintain the quality of VMMC surgical procedure and maintained the adverse events (AEs) to as low as 0.4% lower than the ministry of health 1% expected AEs.

Infectious Disease Institute is a non-Governmental organization that builds capacity for health systems in Africa for the delivery of sustainable, high quality care and prevention of HIV/AIDS and related Infectious diseases through training, research and advanced clinical services

• Conducted safe medical circumcision surgery for adults at respective fixed or mobile sites
• Ensure documentation of all surgical and follow-up procedures
• Ensure that circumcisions are carried out safely in accordance with agreed policies
• Ensure that all activities as pertains to circumcision are done according to the standard operating procedures and ethical requirements

• I enabled the teams to achieve their set targets that is 120% in Hoima and 96% in Kampala
• I engaged about 40 community stakeholders like Village Health Teams, Community mobilizers through community dialogues.

Real Medicine Foundation is acting as the UNHCR Healthcare Implementing Partner for Bidibidi Refugee Settlement

• It provides health services to refugees through the health screening of new arrivals, over 30 stationary clinics, health outreach program and support of referral points like Yumbe District Hospital
• My work as a clinical officer was to be an integral part of the emergency health response program implantation and expansion of RMF/OPM/UNHCR’s program in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement
• Contribute to the identification of programmatic priorities through assessments and actively participate in the design of the programs
• Ensure that the existing health centers in the refugee settlement are delivering high quality services in line with Uganda Ministry of Health and international protocols, guidelines and best practices
• Key achievements
• Provided leadership to the Luzira HCIII within Bidibidi refugee camp as the facility incharge
• Provided preventive and curative/clinical services to over 21,000 refugees in the settlement camp of Bidibidi, Yumbe district following the MoH Uganda and UNHCR guidelines
• Participated in daily clinic meetings, case conferencing and ward rounds for efficient management of inpatients
• Participated in the management of over 1000 medical emergencies in the settlement camp
• Provided reproductive health services to over 500 Adolescent girls and young women among the refugee community
• On a monthly basis, I compiled, analysed and reviewed clinic data to come up with run-charts/graph to display performance
• Developed a training program for VHTs with in the refused camp and trained over 20 VHTs on general health management and disease prevention and medical emergency handling
