  • Kakumiro, Kibaale and Kagadi districts were able to achieve SMC targets for COP 20 at 102%, 146% and 100% Respectively
  • Currently all the districts are on truck to achieving COP21 target through Techinical Support Supervision

  • In Kakumiro district, I achieved 76% (4885/5681) of the CoP 18 VMMC targets and 49%(3845/6008) of the CoP 19 VMMC targets despite the limitations of community engagements caused by COVID 19 pandemic

Real Medicine Foundation is acting as the UNHCR Healthcare Implementing Partner for Bidibidi Refugee Settlement

  • It provides health services to refugees through the health screening of new arrivals, over 30 stationary clinics, health outreach program and support of referral points like Yumbe District Hospital
  • My work as a clinical officer was to be an integral part of the emergency health response program implantation and expansion of RMF/OPM/UNHCR’s program in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement
  • Contribute to the identification of programmatic priorities through assessments and actively participate in the design of the programs
  • Ensure that the existing health centers in the refugee settlement are delivering high quality services in line with Uganda Ministry of Health and international protocols, guidelines and best practices
  • Key achievements
  • Provided leadership to the Luzira HCIII within Bidibidi refugee camp as the facility incharge
  • Provided preventive and curative/clinical services to over 21,000 refugees in the settlement camp of Bidibidi, Yumbe district following the MoH Uganda and UNHCR guidelines
