1. Completed Implementation of mobile and internet banking applications (Android ,IOS,USSD and Web) , monitored and supported users on the platforms successfully as Database and Application support Officer. The remarkable tasks involved,
2. Implemented and supported Anti Money laundering system and did necessary integrations with core banking system for Swift Transactions through the Anti Money Laundering System (Amlock) successfully,
4. I developed data visualization and reporting system with Python programming for general user consumption. This system enabled users access different reports from different system in a well designed user interface portal.
5. I ensured database security,optimization and scheduling of useful data backups without any data losses. This was achieved by incremental and full backup plans that were configured on the database servers.
6. I analyzed Thirdparty APIs and came up with recommendations to improve efficiency and optimization between the database and applications for effective and efficient service delivery. The remarkable moment is when the traffic through the API increased and we registered 80% transaction timeouts and i had to evaluate the entire server, Api and Database to resolve the issues.
7. I developed Database User Interface Application that enables users retrieve different reports from different Databases and this prevented frequent access by Junior officers to database who would execute queries that may lead to grave database mistakes.
8. I automated database frequently consumed analytical data reports using Python scripts. These reports would be automatically sent via emails at a specified time to different users which not only aided their reconciliations but also improved turnaround time.
9. I got high rating and performance acknowledgement in handling and closing of escalated helpdesk tickets.
10. Developed an offline field payment management system for the field payments that replaced the online system helped to speed up payment processing in the areas with poor network. This was a great innovation to the bank and enhanced Service Delivery.
