The Managing Director will oversee the operations and strategic growth of the Orchard Garden, SACCO, Maternity Waiting House, Grinding Mill, and Early Childhood Development and Disability (ECDD) Center. This role involves developing and implementing business strategies, ensuring financial sustainability, and enhancing service delivery across these enterprises. The manager will be responsible for agricultural production and market linkages for the orchard garden, financial inclusion and member services for the SACCO, maternal health services at the maternity waiting house, efficient processing and distribution at the grinding mill, and early childhood education and disability support at the ECDD Center. Additionally, the role requires coordinating with stakeholders, securing funding opportunities, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, business development, and community engagement skills to drive sustainable impact. Responsibilities include staff supervision, resource management, stakeholder collaboration, and performance monitoring to ensure quality service delivery across all sectors. The manager will also lead training programs, develop policies, and introduce innovations to enhance productivity, financial growth, and social impact. A key focus will be on expanding access to maternal healthcare, promoting inclusive education, supporting agribusiness, and strengthening rural economies through strategic partnerships and community-driven initiatives.
