At 3ie, I:

• Support systematic search and screening processes, such as through screening titles and abstracts for inclusion using criteria outlined in a protocol and performing additional literature
• Search, track citations, obtain full texts, and perform targeted searches of institutional websites
• Keep a record of decisions made using EPPI reviewer
• Extract data from included studies
• Prepare tables containing information on the included studies;
  Support data analysis; and
• Attend meetings related to the work as needed.

• I led a team of researchers from all over Uganda in conducting a survey as part of the Quality of Tuberculosis Services
  Assessment (QTSA) project to understand the quality of Tuberculosis management services provided by healthcare workers in private and public health facilities in Uganda and ensured that the right data were collected timely in an ethical manner.

• These responsibilities were undertaken on the Training Needs Assessment for the East Africa Centre of Excellence in Oncology project
• Coordinating study activities and liaison between the study team, partners and funders
• Coordinating and actively participating in drafting the study protocol, data collection tools, study report and manuscript
• Identifying and training research assistants
• Compiling cancer-related newspaper articles for the previous year from Uganda's leading dailies
• Quantitative and qualitative data analysis
• Reporting and manuscript writing and dissemination.

• These responsibilities on the Operational Research for Cryptococcal Antigen Screening (ORCAS 2.0) Project at the Infectious Diseases Institute
• As an expert in Cryptococcal antigen screening, I trained health workers (Doctors, clinical officers, nurses, counsellors, pharmacists, laboratory technicians and data clerks) in their respective departments of health centres about their duties in implementing the screening program
• I recorded data of clients with positive CrAg results and followed them to obtain their 6 months outcomes.

My experience was at the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University.

• I received and processed biological samples through bacteriology techniques
• I isolated and identified bacteria and tested their sensitivity against appropriate antibiotics for both diagnostic and research purposes.

My experience was at the Histopathology Laboratory atMakerere University College of Veterinary Medicine.

• I received and processed biological samples through different histotechnology techniques for diagnosis and research purposes.
• I also participated in training students at the College of Veterinary Medicine in the practical aspects of histotechnology.
