1. In the layer breeders; Improved Liveability from 80% to 90% and, reduced rearing mortality from 10% to 4%, among others.
2. In Broiler breeders; improved rearing performance in terms of uniformity (60% or less to 70% or more) and cumulative mortality (from 10% to 5% or less), improved hen performance by at least 5 hatching eggs per hen housed, improved male quality and liveability leading to 1% reduction in the quantity of males ordered, reduced the expenditure on veterinary drugs in breeder farms by 50%
3. Increased Broiler breeder capacity from 120,000 to 230,000 breeders, layer breeders, from 50,000 to 75,000 breeders.
4. In the commercial layers, improved liveability by at least 5 percentage, improved the number of eggs per hen housed from 320 to 349.5, reduced the expenditure on veterinary drugs in farms by at least 50%.
At Kukupoa:
Improved FCR from 2.6 to 1.88, broiler cumulative mortality from 24% to 4%, reduced antibiotic or veterinary medicine cost per broiler from 32 to 5 Tanzania Shillings, improved breeder performance through reduced mortality rates, and improved percentage of lay.
