  • The project is co-financed from national funds through the RoAid Romania's International Development Cooperation Agency
  • Through conferences, workshops and networking forums with coffee farmers, processors, exporters and regulators I identified, interviewed and briefed potential partners for projects in Uganda; scheduled meetings, calls, field and factory visits and maintained correspondence
  • Contributed valuable East Africa coffee market insights and analysis, and with the CEO's supervisions I drafted the first green coffee beans sourcing strategy
  • Competitively negotiated, helped prepare MOU's and contracts with local coffee partners: farmers' cooperatives, individual traders and aggregators, processors and exporters and haulers to reliably source at least 20 MT of green beans monthly, for 30 months

  • With the benefit of my medical background and clinical experience, under the Health Financing and Investment portfolio, I facilitated investor financing of 540 million Kenya shillings for two primary health and three specialized health facilities; growing the firm's hospital capital placement portfolio by 150%
  • Developed and presented the investment case for medical laboratory diagnostics in East Africa at a conference in Nairobi; this data was used to guide investors and donors on procurement of diagnostic equipment, negotiating with suppliers and examining suitable business models for sustainability of equipment
