A self-managed; result-oriented and experienced project officer with over Seven years’ experience in livelihood development initiatives– agricultural extension, agroforestry, agribusiness development, operationalizing Enabling Rural Innovation and VSLA methodologies; and advocacy with detailed knowledge in project planning, monitoring and evaluations with proven ability to identify development challenges; and provide management and technical support to achieve intended goal.
With strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving and decision making skills; and ability to establish and maintain strong alliances.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Draft, review, fine-tune, and fully develop farming training curriculum.
2. Provide training based on the developed curricula during the project’s time on the basics of growing crops and rearing livestock based on the seasonal requirements.
3. Draft and develop farming plans according to the seasons and climate conditions.
4. Facilitate knowledge sharing among beneficiaries.
5. Coordinate training to farmers in the surrounding villages through Model Farmers for adopting improved agriculture methods and technologies .
6. Draft and develop the sustainability plan for supporting beneficiaries to implement their own agriculture projects and budgeting their projects with implementing organization.
7. Work closely with the project coordinator to plan, design and assist in implementation of other project-related activities

RESULTS
I. I identified, recruited, trained and mentored 20 Trainers of Trainees (ToTs) in Participatory AgroEnterprise Development (PAED) modules using the Enabling Rural Innovation approaches and Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA) methodologies.
II. Developed Agro-value chain farming Calendars and plans.
III. Facilitated the establishment and management of Community Enterprise Learning Sites for (Fruit) trees; Vegetables and Field crops.
IV. Developed Quarterly and monthly plans and budgets.
V. Promoted technologies adoption by providing technical backstopping in the Production and management of selected Enterprises and conducting Farmers’ Participatory Research.
VI. Provided business support through market surveys and linkage to traders and Private sector.
VII. I facilitated the development of, and stream lined cross-cutting issues (e. g HIV/AIDS, gender, environmental protection) and advocacy in the implementation of project activities.
RESULTS
1. Prepared, organized and executed farmers' training using mixed methods approach.
2. Conducted regular farm and store inspections ensuring that all farmers comply with organic regulations in their production methods .
3. Kept registers of all farmers, their farm sizes, number of coffee trees, coffee deliveries per season and sales per season.
4. successfully raised one 1,127 coffee seedlings for distribution by Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA)
RESULTS
I. I identified, selected, formed and operationalized Thirty two (32) Youth Agribusiness Groups.
II. I provided technical and business support to Youth Agribusiness groups(32) in Production, market linkages and Village Savings and Loan Associations
III. Developed, tested and reviewed training curricula for Cabbage, Onion, Tomato and Piggery to support Young Model Farmers for Skills and Knowledge transfer.
IV. I facilitated the development of, and streamlined cross-cutting issues (HIV/AIDS and Gender) in the implementation of project activities at community level and among partner institutions.
V. I identified, selected, trained and mentored 320 Youths (F= 154, M=166) as Young Model Farmers in enterprises of the Youth Agribusiness Group’s choices.
