As a senior accounting officer, these have been my duties:

• Financial Report Analysis: To review financial reports and used accounting ratios (Liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, breakeven figures and return figures) to advise on weak areas in a company.
• Timely Financial Reporting: Working with the accountancy team to ensure reports are prepared on time.
• IFRS Compliance: Ensuring that financial reporting is compliant with the International Financial Reporting Standards
• Reconciliation Review: To conduct reconciliations with Accounts receivables, payables and Bank and mobile money transactions to ensure that financial information is accurate or as close to accurate as possible based on available data.
• Data Management: Conducted data cleaning and migrations support for clients looking to streamline data management with tools like Odoo or change from one system to another.
• Streamlining accounting processes: By implementing efficient accounting software and automation tools.
• Enhance Internal Controls: Identification of weaknesses in financial administration, recommending systems and facilitating creation of manuals to guide the financial procedures within the company.

As a Volunteer, I assisted in packaging meals for shipment to refugee areas in Africa.

My responsibilities included organising food supplies, assembling meal packages, and ensuring they met quality standards for safe delivery and distribution to those in need.

External audit department: Supported in data entry tasks to ensure accurate records of financial transactions are ready for ease of reference in budget assessments and audit by the Office of the Auditor General.
