- Reviewed and advised manufacturers for Honeywell/Elster and Hexing meters for software reviews and advancements
- Elster meter upgrade and HexView 4.0 Pro versions of SMARTset and HexView software respectively were introduced, featuring enhanced access protection to meter data and expanded data access capabilities
- Conducted monthly analysis of recovered and tested faulty meters in the laboratory
- Identified key failure modes, contributing data-driven decisions on meter procurement, maintenance strategies, and overall system reliability
- Introduced LABAID Webversion, a centralized system for tracking meter data from receipt to report production
- Over 300,000 meters have been entered into the system, ensuring meter data is now available in one place and accessible by authorized staff any computer within the Umeme network
- Streamlined meter acceptance testing processes, achieving an 8-hour turnaround time for all new meters, enabling timely meter issuance for maintenance and new connections
- Collaborated with Metering and supplier technical personnel for testing and developing models of metering equipment that include meters, Customer interface units and meter test equipment
- Conducted Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) on 276 for Chint Uzuzi meters, three months after installation, leading to key modification reduced CIU batteries, enhanced ultrasonic sealing, and revised short codes, resulting in improved meter versions and customer satisfaction

- Establishing programs with customers and suppliers to enhance product performance and quality

- Participated in the major enhancements for Single phase prepaid meters that has led to improvements in meters of Hexing, Inhemeter, Chint, and Uzuzi meters
