  • Formulated Wave Employment contracts basing on prevailing Employment laws and regulations and advised on Employee terminations according to Employee terminations policy
  • Reviewed Wave mobile money agent contacts and GCU (General Terms and Conditions for use of Wave App)
  • Drafted all Wave mobile money company documents including but not limited to Company resolutions, appointments of directors, amendment of memorandum of articles of association, share transfer transaction from Chime Inc to Wave Mobile Money Africa among others
  • Advised Wave on its application for operation license before Bank of Uganda
  • Handled share capital increase of Wave Uganda to USD 3,000,000/= (At least Ug. Shs. 10,000,000,000/= - Ten Billion Ugandan Shillings)
  • Handled Wave Uganda signing mandates, drafted and registered necessary powers of attorney
  • Updated Uganda Registration Services Bureau Annual Return Account for Wave Transfer Limited

JBF GLOBAL EUROPE (Belgium)

  • Represented JBF Global Europe (Belgium) and obtained judgment in commercial fraud case worth 300,000 Euros (Approximately Ugx 1,000,000,000/= - One Billion Ugandan Shillings) and had goods re-shipped back to Belgium

  • Currently representing a multi-million betting company, Ultimate Innovations Uganda Limited (Inno Bet) and I advise on all company documents, trademarks and all other legal aspects

  • I did my clerkship training from the legal department of Uganda’s leading bank and my work involved Legal drafting, legal audits, legal opinions and handling court documents
  • I built the idea and also created a data base for all the shareholder files including share certificates and share warrants to ease the department’s work in handling share holder issues
  • I was part of the team that organized the bank’s annual general meeting for the year 2017 that attracted attendance of over 500 shareholders
  • I undertook and made research on the bank’s new project on branchless banking and the dispute resolution mechanisms in some African jurisdictions that have embraced branchless banking
  • I created the legal and regulatory universe including all laws to be used by the bank in carrying out its timely legal audits.

  • With funding from the principal partner, I was the one who led the setting up and establishment of the law firm in 2012 establishing all its structures and it has been a success since then
  • I registered and incorporated over four small entrepreneurial start-up companies in which I led the role of registered company secretary and all the responsibilities attached to the position
  • I led the legal advisory team of Uganda Youth Talent Promotion ltd; a company which I incorporated for the firm’s clients that deals in charity work and promotion of youths’ talents within and around the suburbs of Kampala
  • The company is a success and now receives funds from both government and private sources.
