Summary

I am a seasoned Laboratory Manager with a specialty in marketing, sales and procurement of laboratory diagnostics. I have prevailed in this field at institutional and private levels, building my capacity in purchasing and inventory of laboratory equipment, laboratory staff management, plus marketing and selling of diagnostic kits for the past six years. My progressive experience has driven revenue growth and market penetration in various laboratories. Notably, I was pivotal in securing a lucrative business of supplying ABBOTT and Sysmex reagents to Ministry of Defence and National Referral Hospitals thru Microhaem Scientific (MHS). I apparently lead the marketing team at Vaccine Access Initiative in supplying diagnostic kits to medical facilities across the country Uganda. I manage the water laboratory at Ndejje University. I do all University medical teaching equipments and reagents. I also attracted attention of the US based organization (TAP) to benchmark and the capacity constructing regional laboratories in Uganda.

My career objective is to capitalize on my experience in managing sales and marketing teams, negotiating partnerships, and driving revenue growth to secure a senior position in a leading healthcare or life sciences company, focusing on diagnostics and reagent sales

  • Planning and executing successful launches of new diagnostic products or services. I together with the CEO, engaged the president of the republic of Uganda to come on the launch of the new serological diagnostic kits for
  • Conducting market analysis to identify trends,opportunities, and competitor activity. I run a survey in hospitals and know what products are moving fast on the market and get feedback to the director and manager
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to reach target audiences. I introduced digital marketing and the persons in charge have supplemented a lot. There has been a gradual increase in sales especially to the hospitals we haven’t reached at
  • Building a strong brand identity for the company and its products. I am still working tirelessly to build and maintain the brand. It's not yet to the expectations though
  • Leading digital marketing efforts, including social media, email, and website management. This am thriving high and the harvest. I am proud of us as the whole team
  • Developing marketing materials, such as brochures, case studies, and sales sheets. I and team have used these materials in organized trade shows at Lugogo and recently in Mbarara, and its a working model

  • Supervising laboratory and field work concerning water sampling and testing.
  • Coordinating all international and national collaborations at the Water Research Center. I am responsible for TWB(Technology without Borders) BWS (Badden Wurrtenburg Stiftung) and The Ayin Project(TAP)'s performance and sustainability in the at the University and the country at large.

I engaged te team at a moment to engage embassies, Construction companies, Government bodies, private entities and many other big organizations to increase on sales and it worked very well after securing agreements.
  • Leading and managing high-performing sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue targets and market share goal. I won a prize with the director of the laboratories on site and at the airport for the sales i have made by August 2021.
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and developments. I was always analysing field stands to keep at the top notch of my marketing strategies

  • Collaborating with team to deploy new testing methods and improve on TAT. Because i doubled in the marketing section, i spear headed efforts in reducing TAT and customer satisfaction and hence increasing sales, by using moving from Rotorgene to Gene Xpert.
  • Managing laboratory budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective operations. i was in chaarge of overseeing inventory stock and distribution

  • Market Research Assistance. I was the best marketing personnel in 2019, leading to the launching of our brand and opening a branch in 2020 to assist in reagent and equipment supply in Kigali
  • I also initiated a deal with Mayanja Memorial Teaching Hospital to buy a Sysmex CBC machine, until today, they are using almost all reagents and cartridges from MHS.
