As Project Manager of the ECW project, I have successfully led program implementation across multiple refugee settlements including Bidibidi, Kyaka and Kiryadongo, ensuring delivery against work plans, budgets, and donor compliance standards. I spearheaded the development and operationalization of M&E frameworks and performance indicators in collaboration with MEAL teams and district authorities, ensuring real-time progress tracking and reporting.
I coordinated multi-stakeholder planning and review meetings, enabling adaptive management and efficiency in project delivery. My role also included rigorous budget oversight—developing and revising multi-million-dollar project budgets, monitoring expenditure, and ensuring alignment with both FCA and donor guidelines.
I have cultivated strong partnerships with District Education Offices, UNHCR, OPM, and implementing partners such as YARID, AWYAD, SCU, and HI. This collaboration has included facilitating joint school monitoring visits, co-developing workplans, and strengthening local ownership of education interventions. I have also provided technical support in inclusive education, teacher training, and safeguarding, while leading the development and submission of high-quality narrative and financial reports aligned with donor and organizational standards.
Additionally, I have led cross-functional teams, including direct project staff, providing coaching, performance supervision, and day-to-day support to ensure effective delivery of project activities. I ensured compliance with human resource protocols and mainstreamed safeguarding policies across all implementation levels. My strong representation and coordination skills enabled me to effectively liaise with donors, government officials, and other stakeholders, thereby enhancing the visibility, credibility, and strategic positioning of the project.

As Project Manager for the Play to Learn Project, I provided strategic and technical leadership in delivering early childhood development (ECD) interventions within the refugee context of Bidibidi. I was responsible for overall program planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities in line with FCA and donor (LEGO Foundation) guidelines. I led a multidisciplinary team in promoting inclusive functional play-based learning approaches targeting children aged 3–12+ years, while fostering community engagement through parenting sessions, mobile school bus outreach, and play-based innovations.
My role involved managing partnerships with district authorities, UNHCR, OPM, and other implementing partners to ensure quality delivery and sustainability of interventions. I oversaw project budgeting, procurement, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with donor requirements. I also supported the professional development of the bus teachers and ensured that safeguarding and child protection measures were mainstreamed across all activities.

As Project Education Coordinator for the SCORE and Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA) Projects, I was responsible for coordinating and overseeing education interventions aimed at improving access to quality and inclusive education in refugee and host community settings. I led the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities, including teacher training, capacity building for School Management Committees (SMCs), provision of scholastic materials, and learner-centered approaches in targeted primary and secondary schools.
I played a key role in strengthening collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES), district education departments, and partners such as UNHCR and OPM to enhance education service delivery. I also ensured timely reporting, budget tracking, and adherence to donor requirements. My work supported the integration of gender, protection, and inclusion principles into education programming, while promoting sustainability through local capacity strengthening and community engagement.
I successfully led the implementation of multi-year education programs in refugee and emergency settings, improving access to quality learning for over 10,000 learners, including children with disabilities. I managed and accounted for multi-million-dollar budgets across donor-funded projects (e.g., ECW, The LEGO Foundation, UNICEF, MFA), ensuring 100% compliance with financial and donor regulations through robust budget tracking and financial reporting. I strengthened partnerships with government institutions, local education authorities, teacher training colleges, and INGOs, contributing to coordinated and sustainable education delivery models. I spearheaded the development of inclusive project tools, including play-based learning kits and teacher training modules, contributing to improved learning outcomes and child wellbeing. I established and led M&E frameworks that tracked key performance indicators and informed adaptive program management, leading to significant improvements in project effectiveness and impact measurement.
