Summary

I am a Biomedical Laboratory Scientist by training with a special focus on in laboratory quality management and safety; additionally, a public health officer pursuing a post graduate degree in Public Health at Makerere University. My current roles include overseeing testing activities and technical staff at Makerere University Walter Reed Project (MUWRP) CAP certified lab., as well as laboratory testing activities for an ongoing study of Sepsis in Fort Portal, and maintain laboratory readiness to support clinical trials in outbreak setting. Recent achievements were overseeing establishment and functionalization of mobile clinical laboratories to support clinical tests for enhanced management of critical cases in three major Ebola Treatment Units during the 2022/2023 Sudan Virus Outbreak in Uganda
