Accomplishments

During my tenure as a Food Security and Livelihood Officer at Islamic Relief Worldwide (October 2024 - Present), I have already made significant efforts to enhance agricultural practices and community resilience. This involved introducing drip irrigation technology to 18 farmer groups, comprising 400 individuals, which led to a 40% boost in vegetable and crop productivity, thereby improving their livelihoods. I also supported the provision of emergency food aid to 4,500 people affected by drought, flood, and conflict in Tonj North and Kapoeta East Counties, ensuring timely assistance to vulnerable populations. Furthermore, I trained 500 girls and boys in various livelihood skills, enhancing their capacity for enterprise development.

In my role as a Freelance Consultant (Jan 2024 - Sep 2024), my focus was on resource mobilization and strategic development for community and skills development projects. This involved developing partnership and Food Security and Livelihoods project expressions of interest and proposals for multiple organizations.
