• Conducted structural inspections of the bridge deck, girders, diaphragms, trusses, bracing, and bolts to assess integrity and identify defects
• Oversaw removal of the existing asphalt layer and demolition of the damaged concrete deck to prepare for restoration
• Managed structural repairs, including re-torquing, sanding, and painting of critical components to enhance durability
• Supervised the placement of form work and installation of elastomeric bearings for the new concrete deck
• Led concrete works, ensuring proper batching, mixing, transportation, placing, compaction, finishing, and curing to achieve structural strength and longevity
• Coordinated bridge approach works, including approach slabs, road development, earthworks, and retaining structures to ensure seamless integration with the main structure
• Directed asphalt paving operations, from base preparation to asphalt placement and finishing, ensuring smooth and durable road surfaces

Project: Completion of Outstanding Works on Ssezibwa (Bulandi-Gyira) Swamp Crossing – Kayunga to
Nakasongola Districts

• Assisted in managing and supervising the elevation of 3.6 km of road, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and site safety requirements
• Oversaw the installation of five-line Armco culverts (Ø 1500 mm, L = 15 m) and the construction of their respective end structures, ensuring proper alignment, durability, and efficient water flow management
• Collaborated with the site engineer and construction team to complete works on an 8-cell box culvert, ensuring structural integrity and timely project delivery

Project: Construction of Karago Phase II Town Council Piped Water and Sanitation System – Kabarole District

• Assisted in the excavation of trenches for distribution and transmission mains, ensuring proper alignment, depth, and stability for efficient water distribution
• Participated in the construction of a 50m³ sump and pump house for the booster station, working closely with engineers to ensure structural integrity
• Contributed to the construction of a 100m³ steel reservoir tank, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and design standards
• Supported drilling and test pumping operations for production boreholes, assisting in data collection and ensuring compliance with project specifications and environmental regulations

• Conducted groundwater investigations for borehole siting using electrical resistivity methods (1D, 2D, and Vertical Electrical Sounding), ensuring optimal drilling locations based on subsurface conditions
• Assisted in topographic surveys using the Base and Rover RTK method to design distribution and transmission lines for water supply systems
• Collected and analyzed survey data to develop accurate topographical maps
