• Streamlined motor vehicle clearance processes that resulted in a high rate of detection of risks of misclassification of conventional fuel-type vehicles as hybrid vehicles, misclassification of goods-carrying vehicles, misuse of the exemption regime under the provisions of the Fifth Schedule of the East African Community Customs Management Act, 2004, and misdeclaration of vehicles where the environmental levy was not paid.
• Developed and implemented the DPC Risk Register. This resulted in the identification of cases of misclassification, undervaluation, and misuse of the tax incentive regime for high-risk goods
• Ensured that staff performance plans are developed and cascaded effectively to the last officer.
• Had several engagements with various stakeholders, including cargo consolidators, AEOs, Customs Agents, and Leaders of Customs Agents' Associations, on issues relating to Customs and DPC that affect their clearance processes.

• I professionally engaged with the Busia District Local Leadership which helped to address operational challenges such as traffic jam approaching to and exiting from the OSBP and smuggling activities along the porous border. It further improved working relations between URA and the Busia local leadership

• Ensured the functioning of all One Stop Border Post committees i.e. Joint Border Committee and Border Management Committees. These committees were able to regularly meet on monthly and quarterly basis to review performance of various agencies at the OSBP. This ensured efficiency of Busia OSBP

• Reviewed and aligned staff desk instructions and operating procedures across all service delivery units at the OSBP thus ensuring transparency and accountability through all service delivery desks at station

• Streamlined Customs Business Processes at Busia OSBP which enhanced staff efficiency and accountability

• Offered mentoring and induction training to staff newly deployed thus ensuring smooth integration and minimizing operational mistakes

• I contributed to development of a Tax Incentives Guide for Investors in Uganda in 2017

• Through systems analysis, I detected a wrong system computation of Excise duty on beer made from malt that resulted from collection of unpaid tax

• Created awareness on tax incentives and other Customs initiatives through television and radio talk shows.

• I spearheaded the operationalization of electronic cargo manifest effective July 2015 which resulted into faster air cargo clearance through pre-arrival declarations, enhanced reconciliation for part shipment, enhanced pre-alert information on expected cargo, more accurate data in Customs Asycuda. Ultimately Entebbe Customs achieved its revenue target for the Financial Years 2025/206 and 2016/2017

• Accounted for all goods deposited in Parth International bonded warehouse

• Held stakeholder engagements with Customs Agents, Ground Handlers, Security Agencies. This enhanced relationship between Customs and Airport Stakeholders

• Spearheaded the launch and implementation of Asycuda World system in 2012 as the In Charge of Customs Business Centre (CBC)

• Spearheaded the launch of Single Customs Territory (SCT) 2014 which led into a reduction of clearance time from about 7 days to 2 days

• Head of Mathematics department and developed training materials for Advanced Level Mathematics, Paper 2
